The University of Extremadura inaugurates the 1994/1995 academic year in the Paraninfo (Great Hall) of the Badajoz Campus. The inaugural lecture, "Biological Evolution: Theory and Frontiers," is delivered by Germán Larriba Calle, Professor of Microbiology at the Faculty of Sciences.
